It’s been 6 years since crime solving action-adventure game L.A. Noire was released, and while developer Team Bondi has already ceased operation, it doesn’t mean we can’t see more of the game on modern systems. According to ongoing rumors, the Rockstar-published title will be remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
The talks of a remaster started when reputable whistleblower Yan2295 tweeted that the L.A. Noire remaster will release for the Switch. His comments were then backed up by another tipster, saying the PS4 and Xbox One will get it as well, with a late summer launch window scheduled for the title.
On top of that, ComicBook.com also reported that these rumors of L.A. Noire getting a remaster were confirmed by three sources related to Rockstar, and the PS4 version will support VR as well, along with a first-person mode for all platforms.
Now of course, we have to reiterate none of this information was officially confirmed by Rockstar, don’t keep your hopes up too high, even though I’m sure most of us would love to experience the satisfaction of solving crimes based on our good sense of observation (or checking out guides) all over again.
