A Legion Of New Goodies From Lenovo

Lenovo had recently heightened their influence into the gaming scene with their Legion series of gaming hardware, and today, Lenovo has launched 3 new additions to their Legion gaming sub-brand, with the release of Legion Y920, Y720, and the Y520 Tower.

The Lenovo Y920 Laptop is a high-end gaming laptop that comes with NVIDIA G-SYNC promising players a lag-free gameplay experience thanks to the Intel 7th Gen Core i7 unlocked processor. players can also enjoy stunning 4K resolution through the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card fitted onboard. The Legion Y920 will be joining the recent trend of high-end gaming laptops which comes equipped with a mechanical keyboard with the optional multicolor backlight feature. To complete the full package, this device also comes with a 3W Bass Subwoofer and two 2W JBL Speakers with Dolby Home Theater.

"Lenovo continues to showcase our commitment to gaming innovation and to the endless possibilities in the gaming sector with the introduction of three new Lenovo Legion devices, the Lenovo Legion Y920 laptop, Lenovo Legion Y720 Tower, and Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower, in Malaysia," said Khoo Hung Chuan, General Manager, Lenovo Malaysia and Singapore.

Moving on to the Legion Y720 Tower, it is fitted with a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 Core processor and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB graphics card. One of its highlighted features would be a tool-less design for effortless modifications for the gaming enthusiast. This allows for easy swapping of memory, graphics or storage. 

Last but not least is the Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower, which is a perfect introduction for the serious gamer into the world of gaming. This tower will also allow the user to easily swap their memory, graphics, and storage using the same tool-less design as mentioned above. The device comes equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce GTC 1060 GPU and a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor.

Besides hardware launches, Lenovo had also announced the return of the League of Champions Series II, keeping their collaboration with Intel as the main sponsors of the event intact. The finals will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on January 2018 whereby participants will compete on the latest line of Lenovo Legion devices to duke it out on the Fields of Justice.

Lenovo is also adding more influencers onto their platform with the introduction of Tashbunny, local Twitch streamer, and Astro eGG Network Personality), Geek Fam, a Malaysian based Dota 2 team, and Geraldine Read, which is an up and coming race car driver as well as our former junior squash athlete. Also part of the presentation today was the announcement of Lenovo being the main hardware provider for our local heroes, Kuala Lumpur Hunters for the next season of League of Legends.
