EA Unveils Their “E3 Plans” Without E3

By Dale Bashir on May 30, 2019

The Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 is on its way and with it all the biggest gaming announcements of the year. While the E3 period is when all these major announcements are to be made, most companies this year have actually opted to hold their own shows outside and in conjunction with E3 instead. EA is one of them and boy, do they have quite the show for gamers.

Today, Electronic Arts announced its full livestream schedule for EA PLAY 2019 with three hours of content, highlighting six blockbuster franchises comprised of dedicated streams that show more of the games themselves. Each stream will be hosted by big name personalities like Greg Miller and Julia Hardy that fans will surely recognize as they’ve got the inside scoop of what’s to come. The livestream will kickoff this year’s EA PLAY at the Hollywood Palladium starting at 12:15 am Malaysian time on Sunday, June 9 for us here in Malaysia.

Here’s the full livestream schedule for the show:

  • 12:15 am: Countdown to EA PLAY
  • 12:30 am: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
    • Hosted by Greg Miller and Andrea Rene
  • 1:00 am: Apex Legends
    • Hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez
  • 1:30 am: Battlefield V
    • Hosted by Julia Hardy and Adam Freeman (EA)
  • 2:00 am: FIFA 20
    • Hosted by Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez
  • 2:30 am: Madden NFL 20
    • Hosted by Adam Rank
  • 3:00 am: The Sims 4
    • Hosted by Andrea Rene

Looks like EA is putting all their cards on the table this year, though curiously Anthem is nowhere to be seen this time around. For those watching from home, everyone can tune into EA.com or EA’s YouTube or Twitch channels. If fans are only interested in a couple of the games, they can also tune in at the specific times listed above.
