Overwatch team will not be attending E3 2017

The hype train has come to a hold again, courtesy of Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan posting in the Overwatch Forum, saying that the Overwatch team will not make an appearance and any announcement during this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

World renowned actor, Terry Crews recently went live on Facebook to show off his brand new Old Spice PC build, a little tour around his office and also talked about some stuff. The most attention grabbing subject he talked about is that he will be attending E3 2017. Before he showed off his beastly Old Spice PC setup, Crews booted up Overwatch before saying that there's a big surprise at E3 2017, and said that all of us know what's going on. However, in contrast to Terry Crews tease, Kaplan decided to kill the Overwatch community's hopes and dreams for the imminent arrival of Doomfist in the game by saying that the team will not be attending E3 2017 and there will be no announcements made during the 3 day event. "While we totally appreciate the enthusiasm, the Overwatch team won't be attending E3 or announcing anything at the show this year," Kaplan stated.

There is still a chance for Doomfist announcement though if we play around the words of Jeff Kaplan. He mentioned that the Overwatch team will not be attending E3 and will not make any announcements there, but Terry Crews might still reveal some interesting news regarding Doomfist since he is not part of the Overwatch team. Or maybe the Overwatch team is planning to announce it like how they introduced Orisa to the Overwatch world, by dropping teasers.

Whatever it is, only time will tell what is the major surprise that Crews will be bringing to fans during E3 2017. Stay tuned to Gamehubs for more updates on this matter.
