Catch iFlix's First Mobile eSports Tournament For Free Starting This Month

iFlix, one of the biggest streaming networks of the region, will be hosting the Mobile Star League for free on their services. Starting from the 26th of November 2018 all the way to the 6th of January 2019, fans can check out this tournament live from start to finish for free on exclusively iFlix Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, and Indonesia. 

The Mobile Star League (MSL) is a professional Malaysian eSports league that was formed in 2018 by SMP Esports Sdn Bhd and organized by ookyo, they hosted their first season earlier this year in July. Now they are back for a second season, bigger than ever. The game of choice is Mobile Legends, the biggest mobile eSports out there. Through the MSL, you'll see some of the best players from South East Asia compete for the top prize.

This second season of MSL will be offering a prize pool of US$10,000 with 8 top-tier teams from 4 countries across Southeast Asia invited to participate in the competition. From Malaysia, team Geek Fam ICON, Team Bosskur (formerly Airasia Saiyan), and Saiyan Reborn will be taking part in the tournament. From Indonesia, team Aerowolf Roxy, Rex Regum Qeon, and Louvre Esports will participate. Additionally, team Flash Tyrants from Singapore and IDonotsleep Esports from Thailand will also compete.

Director of SMP Esports Sdn Bhd, Seth Wong Ker Siung said: “MSL sets out to grow a sustainable esports ecosystem by providing consistent tournaments for professional mobile eSports teams to participate in, and for audiences to watch every quarter of the year. We seek to improve the quality of play among professional teams by pitting them against top-tier teams from different countries across Southeast Asia so that they can hone their skills.”
