Fans of Dragon Ball Z get hyped; the most watched fighting game in EVO is coming to the Nintendo Switch soon, and an open beta will be available this weekend for those looking to try out the game running on Nintendo’s console. FighterZ will joining the previously released Xenoverse 2 as the only 2 Dragon Ball games available for the system.
Dragon Ball FighterZ was developed by Arc System Works, famous for their Guilty Gear series of fighting games and their bold, 2D-animated style. It was released early this year for PS4, Xbox One, and PCs, and is finally making their small screen debut on the Switch. Fans have been asking for a port to the Switch, seeing it as the perfect system for this dynamic fighting game.
The demo starts today, with the beta being able for download on the Nintendo eShop. Players can fight in 3v3 battles, and test out the Switch specific functions like single Joy-con use for portable play. The demo will end on Sunday at around 3 am for us in Malaysia. The character roster will include all the characters that was released at launch, excluding DLC fighters and Android 21.
The full game will be released on September 28, and fans can also expect the new DLCs like Base Form Goku and Vegeta to be released around that time as well. Keep up with Gamehubs on Facebook and Twitter to be up to date on all things gaming.
