God of War Is About To Get Harder With New Game+ Free Update

Prepare to relive the experience of Norse father-and-BOI bonding once again. Sony’s Santa Monica Studio has announced its biggest patch update since the game was officially released in April this year. The New Game+ patch is a free update and will be unlocked once players have finished the story on any difficulty.

The New Game+ was designed with the players feedback in mind, as revealed by Santa Monica Studios Aaron Kaufman. The free patch will give numerous brand new additions and tweaks. Players are free to have all of their original upgrades from armor to abilities to enter New Game+ mode but you can craft a new rarity level of equipment using new resource called Skap Slag.

As New Game+ elevates gameplay to a godlike standard, the enemies will become more stronger, complete with new abilities. If you want to go straight into challenging combat, the new patch will allow you to skip the cinematics.

The new God of War captivated our feature editor’s heart and surely, everybody’s heart when  3.4 million copies of the game were sold worldwide within the first three days, making it the fastest PlayStation 4 exclusive title so far.

God of War’s New Game+ patch will arrive soon on 20 August for PS4. Will you be among the first to successfully beat the Give me God of War New Game+ mode? Let us know in the comments on Facebook and Twitter.
