Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery looked to be a great magical adventure, as you can experience life as a student in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry seven years before the main events of Harry Potter.

You get a chance to learn spells, brew potions, meet new friends and fight in duels but once you run out of your energy because of stirring potions or speaking with your best friend, the sheer excitement to become a wizard dissipates like you need to the use 3 ‘energy’ that you don’t have just to ‘take a break’. But, fret not. Maybe the upcoming Harry Potter: Wizards Unite may bring the true Potterheads out of you.

However, if you still believe in the power of magic, here are some mobile games that will lift your spirits up for another magical journey without the need for energy bars.

Reigns: Her Majesty

If you think choosing the right decisions in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is hard, wait until you play Reigns: Her Majesty. Developed by Devolver Digital, this humourous and fun game is the second game for the well-known swipe em’ left/right Reigns. You’re born into royalty and married to a foreign king; you have to build your regal profile through a series of tough choices that will make or break your rule with a gameplay similar to using the Tinder app.

Swipe left or right in Reigns: Her Majesty, available in Google Play and App Store.

Cat Quest

While Mrs Norris can seem ap-paw-ling as she is aware of your every movement, Cat Quest takes you on a journey into a fantasy world made entirely of cats! You’re a cat on a quest to rescue his cat-napped sister. You also gain new equipment to make you the most paw-erful cat in order to take down enemies on route to save your sister.

The award winning Cat Quest is available right meow in Google Play and App Store.

Disney Magic Kingdoms

As Hogwarts is notoriously popular with its secret vaults that can hold dangerous curses, the once sunny and bright Disney Kingdom has been cursed by the mighty Maleficent, casting darkness throughout the kingdoms. Oh no!

In this game, you play as Mickey Mouse, joined by a huge list of Disney characters and use the power of magic to restore the light to the kingdom. Once it’s restored, you can also build your own Disney Park with memorable attractions such as Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion.

Relive your favourite Disney moments in Disney Magic Kingdoms in Google Play and App Store.

Mobius Final Fantasy

If you’re looking for something bigger in the fantasy adventure role-playing game (RPG) genre on mobile, Mobius Final Fantasy is the game for you. You can choose your own character’s job, between mage, knight or thief, and use a refined turn-based battle system that’s strategically modified for mobile in order to defeat your foes. Complete with its own storyline and amazing graphics, this magical game is a must-play for Final Fantasy fans and mobile RPG fans.

Are you the Warrior of Legend that will save Palamecia? Mobius Final Fantasy is available in Google Play and App Store

Dragon Nest M

One of the most popular MMORPGs right now, Dragon Nest went mobile in Southeast Asia when it was released last April. Experience the classic Dragon Nest you know and love. Choose between six different classes: Warrior, Archer, Sorceress, Cleric, Academic and Assassin, each with their own unique abilities, to go through dungeons and fight dragons alongside friends in a MOBA combat style. There are also thousands of costumes you can collect to show off to your friends.

Dragon Nest M - SEA is now available in Google Play and is scheduled to launch for App Store soon.
