Developer PUBG Corporation recently announced a new patch that has significantly changed the pace of the game.
One prominent detail in this patch is the reduction of blue zone areas which pushes armed to the teeth players to confront other players faster than ever before.
Based on the information above, the blue zone delay is faster in the beginning of the match. Later on, players will move slower as the player advances in game but the damage output is highly increased.
If the players spend too much time scavenging for weapons outside of the blue zone, they will slowly bleed to death.
So far the patch has effectively reduced the number of so-called “pacifist” win where players just hide inside a house and wait for everybody to kill each other off and become the proud owner of Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
The hiding strategy still remains the main tactical part of the game because of the slower speed rate near the end game, which stays true of the game’s main trademark: a heart-pounding sensation to emerge in the end as a sole survivor among 100 players.
Similar to the blue zone, the PUBG’s safe zone in remote section of the map is reduced to 30% and the safe zone favours more land areas over water areas. More land areas in safe zones reduce the likelihood of the players to be stranded at the beach or island while adding in more covers between the players.
Other upgraded features in this patch includes the removal of in-game clothing spawns, so you might have to murder someone to get the clothing piece you want. There are also some improvements for the old map, Miramar, as well as the newest map, Erangel.
By the way, here are the reasons why PUBG Mobile is superior than Fortnite Mobile.
