Titanfall 2 will have singleplayer and TV spin-off

The first Titanfall delivered its jetpack/wall-running/mech FPS action in a purely multiplayer package, due to Respawn Entertainment being a "then-start-up which only had a couple of computers" and insufficient resources to do both singleplayer and multiplayer. Thanks to that game's sales, the sequel will see its online component joined by a singleplayer campaign.

In an interview with Forbes, lead writer Jesse Stern said that the campaign will "… deliver a vision of grand global colonial warfare retelling the story of the American Revolution and the American Civil War in space".

Respawn is also developing a series spin-off with Lionsgate TV.

Watching the Warcraft movie might get you World of Warcraft for free

It appears that Blizzard is considering giving out an "Ultimate Movie Edition" of World of Warcraft to those that purchase a ticket to catch the film in cinemas.

The "Ultimate Movie Edition" contains the base game and all of its current expansions - Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, and Warlords of Draenor - and also includes a month of "free game time" and an exclusive in-game item.

The news comes via an image of a survey posted by a Reddit user. And it's not a fake - someone from Blizzard customer support clarified on the same thread that the survey is legitimate.

Kanye West's video game revealed

Kanye West revealed the game he was working on at the Yeezy Season 3 show. It's called Only One - like the song featuring Paul McCartney - and it’s about his late mother, Donda, "travelling through the gates of Heaven". Based on the teaser, it appears that she'll do so by riding a pegasus, before sprouting wings of her own and taking flight with them.

Watch Dogs 2 has been confirmed

The existence of a Watch Dogs sequel was confirmed in Ubisoft's third quarter sales report.

It will be released sometime during the coming fiscal year, which means its release date will fall sometime between this year's April 12 and next year's March 31.

Other Ubisoft games we can expect to see during this period are For Honor, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon WildLands, and "a new high-potential AAA brand with strong digital live services".

The PC Gaming Show's coming back for E3 2016

PC Gamer announced that the PC Gaming Show, which debuted last year, is returning for this year's E3 and will be broadcast on Monday, June 13 at 12 noon PDT (7 PM GMT). It'll also work on its issues, like its length.

"… In 2015 it was really important to us to get a big variety of participants on stage to help convey the spectrum of exciting stuff happening on PC, but an inevitable effect of that was that we ran quite long. This year's show will be more focused, but packed with tons of new announcements and exclusive reveals".

And lastly…

What if MGS V was an '80s TV show?
