Valve introduced a brand new digital card game during The International 7

A new digital card game was just introduced by Valve. No, it is not Half Life 3. The name of the card game is called Artifact and it is entirely based on Dota 2.

Artifact was introduced through a 30 seconds teaser just moments ago during The International 7 main event, but sadly that was it as no concrete details were released by Valve. The host of TI7, Sean "Day9" Plott provided a brief description of the game just before the final game of Day 2 of The International 7 and it sounds to be unique and nothing like we have ever seen before in a card game. It will involve three boards and the cards will be based from Dota 2, as well as building barracks, creeps, and lanes.

This is all that we know about the game. More details will be announced by Valve later on before Artifact is released in 2018. Be sure to follow Artifact's official Twitter account to keep yourselves up to date about the game.
