The next WWE game from developers 2K, WWE 2K18, has revealed 37 more characters that are joining the fray along with the initial 47 wrestlers they have announced previously. They announced the roster reveal through a video by IGN. This brings the total to 84 characters for now. The previous game, WWE 2K17 had a total of 147 Superstars for players to choose from, with 136 of them from the base game and 11 are from DLCs. WWE 2K18 aims to beat that number.
Among the announced wrestlers include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson himself, "You-Can't-See-Me" and noted internet meme John Cena, and Roman Reigns, who is a no brainer at this point. Superstars throughout WWE's history enter the ring, joining previously announced wrestlers like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sheamus, Nikki & Brie Bella, Big Show and The Undertaker.
The beefed-up roster is shaping up pretty nicely with a nice mix of new and old Superstars, with a healthy mix of male and female wrestlers. Along the aforementioned wrestlers are AJ Styles, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Bobby Roode, Brutus Beefcake, Daniel Bryan, Earthquake, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Ember Moon, Godfather, Goldberg, Greg Valentine, Ivory, Jey Uso, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Jimmy Uso, Kerry Von Erich, Kevin Von Erich, Larry Zbyszko, Maryse, Mickie James, Mojo Rawley, Naomi, Natalya, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Tamina, The Miz, The Rock, Triple H and Zack Ryder.
WWE 2K18 takes center stage on October 17 2017 with the Nintendo Switch version coming sometime later in the year. Early Access players will receive their game and their respective bonuses 4 days earlier on the 13th of October 2017.
