The Headless Horseman is your Spooky Host for Hearthstone's Halloween Event

By Dale Bashir on Oct 19, 2017

Heroes of the Storm isn't the only one getting into the spirit of Halloween, Blizzard's competitive card game Hearthstone is having their own Hallow's End event happening from the 24th of October to November 6th. The scary Headless Horseman might be your guide in this event, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a few treats to give out to players.

During the two weeks of Hallow's End. players can look forward to these special treats:

  • Week one: Log in between 11 am PDT on October 24 and 10 pm PDT on October 30 for a Whispers of the Old Gods card pack and an Arena ticket.
  • Week two: Log in between 12:01 am PDT on October 31 and 10 pm PST on November 5 for a Knights of the Frozen Throne card pack and an Arena ticket.

Also haunting around Hearthstone is the new Dual Arena mode, a mix and match of a game type that lets you use different heroes using other heroes' powers and everyone is in a Halloween costume. There's also a Tavern Brawl with the Headless Horseman available called The Headless Horseman Rides, running from October 25th to 28th, it features all kinds of decks and powers that you need to use to defeat the haunting specter.

The Headless Horseman isn't the only headliner this Hallow's End, a new Warlock hero is here and her name is Nemsy Necrofizzle. This perky, little, peach loving spellslinger is available to anyone who participates in Hearthstone's new Fireside Gatherings where players can unite and play the game together in the real world. So meet up with some pals and all of you get to use this brand new alternate hero.

Halloween came early this year for Hearthstone, so gather your decks and enjoy this hauntingly good event.
