As reported by our Indonesian site, Mobile Legends South East Asia Cup 2017 or better known as MSC 2017, was won by a team from Thailand known as IDONOTSLEEP (IDNS). They were crowned champions and won themselves 50,000 USD. The grand finals took place on the 3rd of September, taking place in Taman Anggrek Mall, Jakarta. They beat Salty Salad from the Philipines in a close and heated match. IDONOTSLEEP is comprised of 6 members, they include Izy (ganker), Fairzy (tank), Framezy (marksman), Azy (ganker), and Amozy (support). It has not been an easy road for IDNS as they had to go through the lower bracket against a slew of formidable opponents from across South East Asia.

The Philipines took second and third placing with the aforementioned Salty Salad taking second place and Solid Gaming Alpha taking third, winning 25,000 USD and 10,000 USD respectively. Salty Salad gave out a tough fight with team members BONBON (mage), Yolo (tank), katote (assassin), eson (marksman), and Toinks (ganker) giving it their all against IDONOTSLEEP. Solid Gaming Alpha also gave their best against Indonesia's very own Saint Indo team.

MSC 2017 is a three-day event which has cosplay showcases, performances from local artists and of course, South East Asia's biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament with 5 countries from the SEA region participating. These include Saints Indo and Elite8 Esports from Indonesia, the Philipines with Solid Gaming Alpha and SaltySalad, IDONOTSLEEP from Thailand, IMPUNITY from Singapura and Malaysia's very own Team Saiyan and MyA JR. Team Saiyan and MyA JR placed at 6th and 8th respectively. Congratulations to all teams that participated and we hope the next tournament brings good fortune as well.
