It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane, it’s just a flashy reminder on Steam’s website that the biggest yearly PC gaming sales is here with the Steam Summer Sale. As we descend into a month-long period of madness while unleashing every dime we have to any games with a single digit price tag, it remains a hard task to root out the best deals we can get out of the tens of thousands discounted games.

Besides the obvious must-gets such as Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor ($4) and Hitman: The Complete First Season ($24), there are plenty of deals you can get for the triple-A titles in your wishlist. They don’t necessarily need to be more than a few years old to be affordable, as shown by the list we have compiled below for discounted games released in 2016 and 2017. If you are a junkie for the latest triple-A games, but you can’t afford them at full price, this will be the perfect shopping reference for you.

  • Sniper Elite 4 - $29.99
  • The Walking Dead: A New Frontier - $12.49
  • Watch Dogs 2 - $29.99
