It’s that time of year again, folks. The Steam Sale is upon us and thanks to a tweet from SteamDB, we know when it is. So prepare your wallets, gamers, as we have just a little over a month to save up before splurging on some awesome PC game deals. The coveted Steam Summer Sale starts June 21st.
Steam Database or SteamDB, is a third-party application that tracks updates, developments and other information with regards to Valve’s online storefront. It even provides users with the most minute of details on Steam’s backend as it refreshes itself on a regular basis. SteamDB has had a history of successfully being ahead of official announcements in revealing planned PC releases or game removals.
Based on a screenshot shared on the Steam subreddit, this year’s Summer Sale will run from June 21 until July 5 though we have no confirmation that the screenshot is real or not. Nonetheless, SteamDB hasn’t been wrong too many times before, so best to still be prepared to fill up your Steam library with some cheap as games!
