Rockstar's L.A Noire Announces 4 New Platforms

The game lovingly dubbed as the lie detector simulator is making a comeback once again, as recently Rockstar has announced that L.A Noire will be coming over to 4 new platforms which are the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and VR. 

These new platform adaptations for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will be released on November 14, 2017. Here is what these new platforms will be offered up with their editions of L.A Noire:

Nintendo Switch

The Switch version comes with the complete original game bundled with all it's previous DLCs, with special add ons based on the unique JoyCon controllers, which will add in gyroscopic, gesture based controls, HD rumble and new wide over-the-shoulder camera angles. Detective work is also more portable here as it is also fitted with touch screen controls.


PlayStation 4/ Xbox One

These versions of L.A Noire will come with the complete full game as well as massive upgrades to their graphics and authenticity, with not only the full range of DLCs being brought back but enhanced details such as lighting, new cinematic camera angles, HD textures are also being implemented into the game. The game will be natively played in 1080p for both these consoles and in eye watering 4K for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. 


Additionally, L.A Noire will also be stepping into the world of VR with a special VR game called L.A Noire: The VR Case Files which is played on the HTC Vive and it will feature seven select cases from the original game being rebuilt for the full VR experience.
