Real-Time Strategy Game Rome: Total War Comes To iPhone

For those aspiring to be a Julius Caesar on-the-go can live out their dreams as Rome:Total War will be coming to iPhones soon. Developers of the IOS port of the game, Feral Interactive, has shown off the upcoming port in the video above.

Originally released in 2004 by Activision, the game has since been picked up by Sega and then ported to the iPad in 2016 by Feral Interactive. It was hailed as the best real-time strategy game of all time when it was released, the game was also praised for its historical battles players can engage in. It also still has a very active modding community.

Since the release of the iPad port, many fans have been asking for an iPhone release. This long-overdue release has been delayed a few times, and now it seems that we are closer than ever. Feral Interactive has also released the list of iPhones that can run this long-awaited game.

Fans of the game need IOS 11, an iPhone 5S or 6th-Generation iPod Touch at best, and 4 GB of memory. Expect more on the release of the game sometime soon.
