Fans of the ongoing phenomenon, Pokemon Go can take comfort in knowing that their rush to capture the three legendary cats, Entei, Suicune and Raikou can be prolonged as the Equinox event is being extended to end at October 3rd from its previous date of October 1st.

The extension was due to an outage that affected users connecting to the game yesterday, whereby Niantic had announced on Facebook that they had extended their in-game Equinox event for an extra day. The Equinox event gave players a chance to earn double stardust for hatching and catching Pokemon while registering a new Pokemon into your Pokedex will net you three times more experience than usual.

For those of you currently hunting for these legendary cats, Suicune is currently residing in the Asian region, while Raikou is in the Americas, and Entei is in Europe and Africa. Take not that this legendary Pokemon will rotate on September 30th and will be available for capture until October 31st.
