We are a week away from E3 2017, where the upcoming biggest games were set to be revealed by top developers. But that doesn’t deter certain companies to have their own personal unveiling, as Nintendo and the Pokémon Company will be hosting a Direct tonight, focusing exclusively on “big” Pokémon news.

The Direct will only last for eight minutes, which is a bit short, but further coverage of whatever they are planning to reveal will be found on the official Pokémon website. Netizens are understandably hyped up about it, as they believe the unveiling will focus on Pokémon Stars, the rumored Nintendo Switch remaster of Pokémon Sun and Moon. On the other hand, some of them are eager to get remakes for the fourth generation of mainline games, namely Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl and Pokémon Platinum. Discussions for these remakes are rife on Reddit, and an avid fan even listed 30 reasons on why Nintendo should be doing them.

While Nintendo didn’t give the slightest hint of what to expect from the Direct, it’s safe to say we’ll hear some official news about the speculations above. You can watch the show live through this page tonight, June 6 at 2200 GMT+8.
