Xbox fans who are looking forward to play the hottest game in the market, PlayerUnknown's Battleground, don't have to wait much longer as the game will be coming to Xbox One as a console launch exclusive through the Xbox Game Preview program on December 12, 2017 as announced during the Paris Games Week.

“We’re approaching development on Xbox One with the same community-driven focus that we’ve taken with the game on PC,” Chang Han Kim, CEO of PUBG Corp. said in his post on the Xbox website. “As a result, the ultimate battle royale experience that fans play on Xbox One will be slightly different than what players know today on PC.”

To celebrate the launching of PUBG on Xbox One, the PUBG developers have collaborated with the Xbox team to create three special, limited-edition cosmetic packs- the PUBG Warrior Pack, PUBG Accesory Pack, and PUBG Tracksuit Pack. "These packs are exclusive to Xbox fans as standalone offers available for a limited time and as there are no plans to feature any in-game purchases in the Xbox Game Preview version, are the only items that can be purchased during the preview period," Chang Han Kim added.

There is also good news for PC players as the developers are on track to launch 1.0 for the PC version in late December this year. Both PC and Xbox versions are being developed simultaneously but the progress will be different as the PC version was launch way before this. The features and functionality for the Xbox version will change over time, similar to PC, while aligning both versions as soon as possible.

The PC version of PUBG is available in Steam Early Access for $29.99, whereas the pricing for the Xbox version will be announced in the coming weeks.
