Players are enraged after the latest PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds monthly update

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds just received its latest monthly update yesterday tons of new items and a first person server was added. However, the PUBG community has been raging and voicing their dissatisfaction as players are experiencing several issues.

Redditor, Rinaldi363 reported this issue on the PUBG subreddit that players are experiencing lags and desync issues, which causes the game to be unplayable, literally. Bluehole is quick with their response and acknowledging the issue, but no good news came from their part as it will take some time to get everything back on track. "We believe we have tracked the source of the server lag seen today. This will not be an easy fix, so please bear with us," Bluehole made an announcement on the main menu screen of the game.

A 517mb update for PUBG was deployed this morning but it is not for the lag and desync issues. This update intends to fix a different issue that was causing FPS drops and also some problems related to game sound.

There is no harm in playing the game now if you can bear with the horrendous lags. If you are the type that demands smooth gameplay all the way, try playing other games in the meantime, or you can check out our previous article about what's new in the latest monthly update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
