Finally, a new Overwatch content has arrived as Blizzard had just released a new comic for Bastion titled "Binary". The last comic released was three months back during the holiday season with Tracer's "Reflections". This story of this comic revolves around the volatile Torbjorn and the Omnic he helped created, Bastion.
The latest installment in Overwatch series of digital comic shorts, Binary, takes place in rural Sweden shortly after the fall of Overwatch, where a terror from the past has recently reemerged. In "Binary," locals have spotted a Bastion unit roaming the woods, and they believe it's only a matter of time before the dangerous omnic tries to destroy them. As they assemble to discuss what to do, a mysterious stranger arrives… someone who has experience fighting Bastions and is eager to hunt them down.
Binary is written by Blizzard's own Matt Burns and James Waugh and illustrated by Joe Ng and Espen Grundetjern, and it is now available for download at comic.playoverwatch.com. You can also experience the action and sound of this story through the Madefire motion book on desktop, mobile, and Apple TV.
After reading the comic, we all finally know why Torbjorn is not fond of the Omnics since he was part of the team that helped built the Bastion units which ultimately led to the Omnic Crisis. Furthermore, the community has been asking Blizzard to make a Octopus Bastion skin just like the one in the cover of the comic. Maybe it's one of Blizzard's ways to tease us for an April Fools skin? I certainly hope so.
You can also check out the previous Overwatch comics at Overwatch comics section if you missed out on it.
