NYXL, Boston Uprising and Los Angeles Gladiators were the only teams to score two wins from last week’s round of games. While the Gladiators slugged it out to Map 5 for both of their 3-2 wins, NYXL and Boston Uprising scored comfortable 4-0 and 3-1 wins over the likes of San Francisco Shock, Dallas Fuel, Seoul Dynasty and Shanghai Dragons.

Notably, let it be known that in Week 4, Shanghai Dragons genuinely meant business as they almost nabbed their first win in the 2-3 loss against Philadelphia Fusion. They had been on a steady losing streak of ‘1-3’ scores as they kept on inching closer to their first win (probably against Dallas Fuel on 17th May 2018). However, Week 5 will be rough for them as they will be facing NYXL and London Spitfire. I guess there isn’t much legitimate pressure when you’re one of the worst esports team on Earth. Though to be fair, Shanghai Dragons’ recently revamped roster is getting stronger and better match by match so while they won’t be winning anything soon, don’t rule them out yet for Season 2 of the Overwatch League.

All in all, Week 5 will be a ‘hot one’ as we have Stage 3 playoffs and title matches!

MVT: Shanghai Dragons

This team may be shamefully winless but Week 4 was literally their best week. First, they managed to take a map away from Boston Uprising (and each of their map scores were very closed) and then they took two maps from the struggling Philadelphia Fusion. Geguri, Ado and Fearless are players you should look out for as they are one (or three) of the main reasons how Shanghai Dragons can jump from 4-0 defeats to 3-1 losses. By improving their communications, fortifying their backline and being more cohesive, Shanghai Dragons can be a worthy contender in the future season of matches.

MVP: Sayaplayer

Sayaplayer is genuinely one of the best additions for Florida Mayhem. His Widowmaker picks were hands down scary. Heads will roll if one find themselves at the receiving end of his Widow’s Kiss scope.
