One can never have enough party members, and for players of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, there will always be new members from across the Final Fantasy franchise to join in on the fun. From tomorrow, the 11th of August until the 24th, players stand a chance to unlock an assortment of characters from Square Enix's latest RPG hit, Nier: Automata, to unite and take down foes and monsters from both franchises.

6 characters from NieR: Automata are coming to the game, this including main protagonists 2B and 9S, 21O, A2, Eve and Adam. They will all serve as units in the game with A2 and Eve also acting as new global exclusive characters. All this and more were announced through an update video posted through the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Official Channel on Youtube. This includes new announcements on new raid bosses such as the Marlboro, new Ability Awakening update for previously released units, such as the three main protagonists of Secret of Mana are some of the few to be getting new abilities in this update. The video also answers some fan questions and shows of fan submitted artwork.

Another nod to the Nier games is that players will also be able to craft the always creepy looking, Emil's Head mask as an item in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Players can get the materials needed to craft this item for a limited time in the Nier: Automata themed raid boss, Adam.

This special event rolls out tomorrow for players on IOS and Android devices. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius celebrates all things Final Fantasy and Square Enix, with characters from other Square Enix franchises making appearances, including characters from the aforementioned Secret of Mana, Dragon Quest, and Bravely Default. They've even added Arianna Grande as an unlockable unit. With Nier: Automata joining the fray, fingers crossed for Sora and Riku from Kingdom Hearts to come to Brave Exvius soon.
