Asobimo's popular fantasy MMORPG, Avabel Online, is celebrating its 4-year anniversary with a stream of new content and updates, and more importantly, new consoles as well. As announced in the video above, debuting during last week's Tokyo Game Show, the game will be coming to PS4, PC through Steam and the Nintendo Switch sometime soon, presumably with updated graphics and control tweaks as the original was a mobile game with touch controls.
Initially released in 2013, Avabel Online is the first out of Asibimo's line of MMORPGs to make a leap into consoles. Avabel Online has since been downloaded 12 million times and hopefully it will do well on consoles. In the game, players choose from a wide variety of classes, like Wanderer, Creator and Revenger, and band up with fellow players to enter a world that can have up to 100 players participating online in the PvP arenas.
The latest update to the game added higher resolutions for its game map and environments to keep up with the higher powered smartphones that have since been released after their 2013 debut. This is also to get ready for the game's jump to 1080p resolutions on consoles and PC. The update is available now for the IOS and Android versions of the game. So far, no release dates have been announced for the PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game.
