MapleStory 2’s Closed Beta Sign Ups Are Now Open

By Yue Lynn on Apr 18, 2018

Citizens of the global community will finally get the chance to play MapleStory 2 as the closed beta sign up will be open on 9th May 2018. Previously, this MMORPG was released only in South Korea back in 2015. Despite being a sequel, MapleStory 2 will be set in the same game universe called the Maple World as its predecessor, MapleStory.

According to the creators, MapleStory 2‘s class isn’t as diverse as that of the original game though players can customise a lot of things according to their liking. MapleStory2 will include “powerful tools to let all of our players truly customise their own corner of Maple World, from character customisation, designing special outfits, building your own dream house and so much more.” Basically, MapleStory 2’s developers wants you to run wild with your creativity and unleash your designs in MapleWorld.

Aside from the sign ups, MapleStory 2 is having a campaign for players to join in order to unlock some prizes. Currently, the prizes include a skateboard mount and a Maple Cape with many more cool items to come in the future.

For players who are interested to sign up for the closed beta, you can check if it’s available for your country by clicking here. Additionally, to learn more about said sign up, do click here.

While we eagerly wait for MapleStory 2’s arrival, here’s a look at the game:

The game looks super adorable and the environment design looks cute and blockey (Minecraft-ish).The character customisation is expansive and provide players with a variety of choices to style their characters in quirky and distinctive ways.

One of the highlights of MapleStory 2 is the level of personalisation that players possess. For example, you can build and design your own houses according to your preferences and you can advertise on them (as you can see below)!
