In an obvious effort to jump on the hype train of Westworld’s upcoming Season 2, WB Games will be producing a Westworld mobile game in collaboration with Kilter Films wherein the title will be developed by Behaviour Interactive. Though no release date was mentioned, the game will be released later this year for both iOS and Android platforms.
As reported by TechCrunch, “the games team is working closely with Westworld’s producers and writers to develop a narrative that can complement the themes of the series.”
Additionally, “in the game, players can assume the roles of a new trainee to the Delos company who has access to the Training Simulations. Through the gameplay, players will take over aspects of the park’s operations — including designing the artificially intelligent “hosts” that populate the park and serving the needs of guests.” According to the game’s official website, players will also be able to interact with familiar characters including Bernard, Dr. Ford, Maeve, Dolores and more.
You can actually pre-register now at the official website to get special rewards, including early access to the Lawrence Host Code and other cool offers. As you can see below, each level of pre-registrations unlocks a different pack of awesomeness:

So, what do you think? If you’re a Westworld fan (Season 2 is premiering on April 22nd), are you freaking out over this? Since Westworld is known for its explicit themes, we have to wonder if the mobile game version will have ‘em too...
