E3 2018: Heres Everything Microsoft Showed Off In Their E3 Presentation

By Dale Bashir on Jun 11, 2018

As the sole Xbox owner on the gamehubs team, naturally I was chosen to cover the Microsoft briefing, here's all the things they announced for the event:

The briefing started out with a beautiful world of wildlife, seeing all kinds of animals in a world similar yet so alien to ours. Soon you see familiar marines on a shore, and a familiar super soldier looking on. Halo Infinite is the next big Halo game, Master Chief is back to kick some alien ass and stop anyone from activating the Halo rings again.

Phil Spencer announces 50 games, 18 exclusives, 15 new to the world. Ori and The Will of the Wisps kicks off the show, showing off the brand new action-platformer for Xbox One

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice from From Software and Activision seems to be the new Souls-like game, taking a page from Nioh, set in ancient Japan, featuring all manner of Yokai and samurai.

Fallout 4 is coming to Xbox Game Pass, while Todd Howard shows off Fallout 76, which is 4 times the size of Fallout 4, set in West Virginia, and features the first people to enter the wasteland after the fallout.

June 26th will be the release of The Amazing Adventures of Captain Spirit, a free game set in the Life Is Strange universe.

Crackdown 3 was also shown off with a Terry Crews-centric trailer, showing off cars and tanks and all-matter of destruction.

Nier Automata Become As Gods Edition is coming to Xbox One.

Metro Exodus is revealed to be coming next year on 22nd February 2019.

Kingdom Hearts 3 shows off a new world based on Frozen, with Sora and the crew meeting Elsa, Olaf and the rest. Other cool things include a Simba summon, Larxene coming back, and Riku and Mickey in the World of Darkness.

Sea of Thieves has two DLCs called Cursed Sails and Forsaken Shores, coming in the later half of 2018.

Forza Horizon 4 was a world premiere, it is to be set in Britain, seasons play a big part of the game, it's an open-world, online game. It'll come out on October 2nd, launching on Game Pass on the same day.

The Initiative, Undead Labs, Playground Games, Ninja Theory, Compulsion Games, all join Microsoft Studios as 2nd-party developers.

We Happy Few will be launched on August 10th 2018.

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds will be releasing all kinds of new content for the Xbox this winter.

Tom Clancy's Division 2 was revealed with a trailer and demo, showing off a bunch of players fighting off to reclaim Capitol Hill. March 15 2018 will be the release date.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is coming to the Xbox on September 14 2018.

A new game called Session was shown off, and seems to be the succesor to the Skate series.

The world premiere of Devil May Cry 5 was shown, showing off snazzy new graphics, what seems to be Nero from DMC 4, and of course, the return of Dante.

Jump Force is an exciting new game, featuring characters from Shuiesha Jump all crossing over to a whole new world. It was pretty neat seeing Goku, Naruto, and Luffy facing off against Frieza in a realistic looking New York

Dying Light 2 was shown off with a demo highlighting the parkour that the series is known for and a dynamic, world-changing, choice based system.

Other things to note were: a new trailer for the MMORPG, Black Desert was shown off, Tales of Vesperia will finally be making it to the west with a Definitive Edition, Tunic looks to be a cool, isometric, Zelda-like game for the Xbox, Cuphead is getting DLC with new levels, new bosses, and a new playable character, Ms Chalice; Battletoads is back and coming to an Xbox near you in 2019 and the accidental leak was real, Just Cause 4, will be causing mayhem in December 4th 2018.

It's a great time to be a Gears of War fan as they announces Gears Pop, a mobile title in collaboration with Funko, Gears Tactics, a tactical prequel to the main series, and Gears 5, a true sequel to the series, coming soon.

And finally, Cyberpunk 2077 receives a new trailer, showing off its dystopian world in all of its glory.

Overall, Xbox did a pretty good job in showing off the best of what's coming to their consoles and Windows 10. Expect more of Bethesda and Square Enix's games in their respective conferences later in the week.
