It’s official: the saga of Harry Potter has stretch to the magical realm of video games. Developed by Portkey Games (a games label under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment) and Jam City (creator of Cookie Jam, Panda Pop and Family Guy: Another Freakin’ Mobile Game), Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery allows players “to create their own character and experience life as a Hogwarts student.” Though I may not be accepted into Hogwarts in real life, at least my video game character is a Hogwarts student in this game! #ExpectoPatronum
According to the game’s official site, “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is set prior to Harry Potter’s arrival at Hogwarts. The game is set in the wizarding world that we are familiar with from the books and films.” Colour me interested and count me in! #WingardiumLeviosa
While a release date has not been released, it’s confirmed that the game will be available sometime this year and can be downloaded from the iOS App Store, Google Play store and Amazon appstore. #Accio
