Halo meets Power Rangers as player recreates the Dino Megazord in Halo 5

The community of modders is always known for their creativity in adding quality of life improvements and some pop culture mashups into games. This makes triple-A titles like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4 notorious for some of the cool looking mods they have, but Halo 5 might be cast in the same limelight soon for having their own Power Rangers robot.

A Halo 5 player managed to create the Dino Megazord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, complete with the transformation sequence and Rangers in the cockpit. The entire creation was done using the game’s Forge mode, which allows players to edit and create maps, vehicles, and other interesting things, like a huge Megazord.

The credit for the creation goes to Yukigage on Twitter, and it even garnered attention from Halo’s franchise director Frank O’Connor, who said on Twitter that he would like to highlight Yukigage’s work and bring attention to some of the best creations done by the forging community.

I personally didn’t play any of the Halo titles, but you don’t need to be a player to appreciate how awesome the Dino Megazord looks in a modern game. Here’s hoping we can see more cool stuff like this in the future.
