It goes without saying that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is arguably the most popular action RPG video game in recent years since the release back in 2015. Now, players have the chance to play Geralt’s first entrance as a Witcher for free.

GOG is currently giving out free copies of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition only for PC, but there’s a catch. Firstly, players have to install the digital card game inspired by the mini card game in The Witcher 3: Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. Don’t worry, it’s a pleasant catch as the card-playing game is free to play.

Once the game is installed, you will need to subscribe to GOG.com’s newsletter which you can unsubscribe any time you like in order to get the free copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition. Click here to claim the bonus.

Besides the free copy, players will also receive a free Card Keg that gives out extra five cards for those who wish to play the Gwent card game.

The Witcher was released for PC back in 2007. The game entails Geralt’s journey on becoming a Witcher, a genetically enhanced individual with special powers that enables him to kill monsters.

Speaking of The Witcher, Geralt of Rivia is making his way to SoulCalibur VI. There is also a Netflix show in the works based on this famous series but it might not include the titular protagonist.
