Get Pink Mercy In Support Of Breast Cancer Research

Blizzard Entertainment and Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) have teamed up to unveil a special Overwatch charity skin. Yes, everyone’s favourite Dr. Angela Ziegler will be getting a Legendary skin called Pink Mercy!

Pink Mercy is available for online purchase (USD14.99/RM60) in Overwatch across all platforms, but do note that the sale will end on 21st May 2018. Players who log in to Overwatch between 8th to 21st May will get a BCRF-themed player icon for free.

Blizzard also revealed that they will donate 100% of the proceeds to BCRF, “with a guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000 (USD)”. On top of that, the company will revealed the total donation amount once the campaign has ended on 21st May.

Aside from the in-game skin, here are some goodies that player can equip in real life:

Designed by famous artist, vickisigh, these tshirts cost USD30/RM120 each and pre-orders are currently open until 21st May 2018. According to Blizzard, “100% of the proceeds (USD15) from these t-shirt sales (USD30) will be donated to BCRF”.

Extra Free Goodies

Real life and virtual garments aside, players can actually get a number of free in-game cosmetics from this charity event:

By watching charity streams on Twitch, players can get four cool sprays and a player icon, which were designed by artist, onemegawatt. These cosmetics will only be available from 8th to 21st May and in order to get these goodies, players must link their Blizzard account to their Twitch account, in addition to watching the streams.

Following a set schedule, selected streamers from around the world will be streaming Overwatch “under the pink-ribboned banner of breast cancer research.” All tips and bits received during said streams will be tallied and donated to BCRF when the campaign ends on 21st May.
