International gaming gears manufacturer is moving into a different turf with the launch of its own cashless payment app, Razer Pay in Malaysia. The digital wallet is made possible with the collaboration of Razer and Malaysian conglomerate Berjaya Corp Bhd.

Formerly known as One2Pay app, Razer Pay is a rebrand of the said app after the company successfully obtained MOL for USD$61 million. As a result, those who are still using One2Pay will see the app automatically updated to Razer Pay.

Designed for youth and millennials, especially for gamers, Razer Pay provides a wide range of virtual currency instant purchases such as Steam Wallet Code, PlayStation Network credits, Blizzard Balance and including Razer’s own zGold. Believe it or not, you can actually buy the full PUBG game using this app!

Other than that, Razer Pay is an e-wallet app that covers various cashless transactions services. Among them are buying reloads for telco providers and purchase for entertainment streaming subscriptions like Spotify, Iflix and Astro’s NJOI Prepaid.

Currently, credit cards cannot be used to add funds in the app yet. At the moment, users can walk into any 7-Eleven stores to purchase a Razer Pay top-up PIN. Another alternative method is to use their online banking accounts from Maybank, Public Bank, CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank and AmBank.

Razer Pay allows users to transfer funds through friends and family from the e-wallet to bank accounts. Furthermore, Razer Pay can be used as an offline payment at over 6,000 major retail and F&B stores including 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Wendy's, Kenny Rogers, Krispy Kreme, 99 Speedmart and with many more to add in the future.

In celebration of its app debut in Malaysia, each new user in Malaysia will receive RM10 bonus in their Razer Pay wallets if they sign up with a valid local mobile number from 4 July to 30 September 2018. Users can use the e-wallet app to donate for a good cause too. The Berjaya Group will donate RM10 to the national Tabung Harapan Malaysia fund if you make your first Razer Pay purchase at these participating brands: 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Greyhound Cafe, Cosway, Krispy Kreme, Wendy’s Kenny Rogers Roasters and Singer.

So, are you excited to use this cashless payment app? Razer Pay is now launched for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
