Garena Is Hosting Several League Of Legends Worlds Final Viewing Parties Across Malaysia

With the League of Legends World Championship Grand Finals coming up next weekend, Garena announced its plans to host multiple viewing parties at selected TGV Cinemas, cyber cafes, and Garena Student Alliance (GSA) campuses on 4 November 2017.

TGV Cinemas are the official venue partner for the Worlds Viewing Party and the 10 selected TGV Cinemas are One Utama, Wangsa Walk, AU2, Kepong, Sunway Putra, Sunway Velocity, AEON Seremban 2 (Negeri Sembilan), 1st Avenue (Penang), Tebrau city (Johor), and Kinta City (Perak).

According to Ashley Chong, Garena Malaysia’s Marketing Lead for League of Legends, she said: “Based on the number of venues we have for Worlds Viewing Parties this year, it’s clear that our local League community is excited as ever to see their favorite gamers in action. “This year is especially meaningful for us to see Esports enthusiasts and even our very own GSA students getting involved to host their own events. We’re looking forward to a great show!”

Acer Predator was also announced as the official sponsor for this year's Worlds Viewing Party by conducting a mass giveaway which includes prizes like peripherals and gaming laptops worth RM40,000 in total. Zotac 1050ti Graphic Cards are up for grabs as well at all TGV venues.

Furthermore, Food Panda vouchers, Mountain Dew, and League of Legends skins such as Super Galaxy Elise and Curling Veigar will be redeemable for attendees. There will be rewards for early birds as well, where the first 100 attendees for each venue can earn themselves a Worlds 2017 notebooks and Digi Star Guardian prepaid cards.

Worlds Viewing Parties will also be held in 12 cyber cafes across Malaysia including The Pantheon, Malaysia's first esports arena and NVIDIA Certified Platinum iCafe. GSA campuses will also organize and manage their respective viewing parties at their own campuses. Some of the campuses involved are Taylor's University, Sunway University, Asia Pacific University, and more.
