Previously, we announced some new expansions for mobile MMORPG Lineage2 Revolution. Now, developer Netmarble has announced a massive Fortress Siege that will take place on the 28th of July. The Fortess Siege will be a weekly event, taking place every Friday starting from July 28th, and will last for about 30 minutes. A weekly bid will be held for clans who want to take part in the siege every Thursday from 12 am to 9 pm.

Two clans will clash with each other in Fortress Siege, with 50 players on each side competing for the prize. It will take player skill, teamwork and strategic placements of structures and altars for a clan to prevail. Previous Guild Battles relied on strength and power of the players involved in it while Fortress Siege aims to bring light to other aspects of Lineage2 Revolution. At the time of this writing, in 66 of Lineage2's servers, there a total of 792 clan-owned fortresses and with the first siege coming up, Netmarble estimates about 47,000 players to participate and 392 clans emerging victorious by the end of it.

All participants of this all out warfare will receive in-game currency (adenas), experience points and the Proof of Blood as a trophy for their participation in the siege. Victorious clans will also receive many bonuses and rewards to expand and fortify their fortresses. The floodgates have been opened, good luck to all clans who are going for the Fortress Siege.
