The first ever Arena of Valor World Cup (AWC) kicked off 18 July in Los Angeles, USA and the Top 8 teams that emerged were: Thailand, N. America, Chinese Taipei, Vietnam, Korea, China, and two WC teams from Chinese Taipei and Thailand.

AWC’s semifinal and final matches will be held this weekend, July 28-29 2018, at the famous TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California.

Here’s a quick recap of what happened during the group stage and the quarter finals:

Kicking off the semifinals on 28 July is South Korea vs Chinese Taipei, then Thailand vs China in a best-of-five series. The losers from those two matches will head to a “losers bracket” where they will still have the chance to get themselves into the AWC finals and the two teams will play a best-of-seven series. This competition holds the biggest prize pool ever in mobile eSports at USD 550,000!

Every match held this weekend will be shown on the Official Garena AOV Facebook page and Youtube channel, and within the AOV app itself via Valor TV.
