Diablo III’s Rise of the Necromancer DLC launches at the end of June with a $15 price tag

Diablo III had mixed fortunes since it was launched in 2012, with many players citing that the game never reaches the heights of its predecessor. With that said, Blizzard did put in a decent effort to improve the action RPG by taking public feedback into account, and it’s safe to say that Diablo III is currently in a much better state. The addition of the Necromancer character is part of such efforts, and Blizzard has just announced that it’ll launch on June 27 with a $14.99 price tag.

The Rise of the Necromancer pack will give players full access to the class in both Campaign and Adventure modes, along with a bunch of digital exclusive items, such as:

  • Non-combat pet
  • A pair of cosmetic wings
  • New Necromancer-themed Banner Shape, Sigil, and Accent
  • Necromancer Portrait Frame
  • Pennant
  • Two additional character slots
  • Two additional stash tabs (this won’t be available on consoles)

If you are not inclined to spend a single dime for this update, there are free content such as Challenge Rifts, The Shrouded Moors zone, Temple of the Firstborn zone, and the Realms of Fate, which are all available if you own the Reaper of Souls expansion.

The Rise of the Necromancer pack will only be available after patch 2.6.0 is installed, and you can get it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can find out more details about the DLC and upcoming update on the official site.
