Days Gone, a PlayStation exclusive, is an open world, action-adventure game set in a zombie apocalypse setting. According to the official description in the game’s PlayStation page, you play as Deacon St. John, “a bounty hunter facing a brutal struggle for survival, searching for a reason to live”. In the game, “every challenge can be approached and completed in an almost infinite number of ways.”

When the release date on Days Gone’s official PlayStation page was changed to ‘2019’, USgamer reached out to Sony for a comment. As reported by USgamer, a Sony spokesperson confirmed that the date change was indeed genuine, saying that "Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date" without providing further details.

Judging from some of the comments in the comments section of USgamer’s post regarding the delay, the reaction towards the news were pretty nonchalant. Maybe it is for the best that the game gets delayed after all.
