Singapore is set to have some exciting activities for gamers as two months from now, one of the biggest regional gaming fests will be held right there! The Asia Game Festival (AGF) will be held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from 9th to 10th June 2018. According to its official announcement, attendees can expect an all-encompassing experience as the event will be featuring a plethora of cool stuff: gaming-related talks, esports, community gaming, cosplay, animation and music.
The two-day event will be filled with loads of activities and here are some main highlights you should take note of.
According to its press release, AGF boasted that it will be hosting the largest number of
esports championships in Asia. So far, they have announced the inaugural CPL Championship-PUBG tournament whereby players from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines will go head-to-head in order to be the first PUBG champ in the region. Besides that, AGF will also be hosting the Hyperplay Singapore National Qualifier’s League of Legends finals, whereby the champions will proceed to represent Singapore in Hyperplay’s group stages. More tournaments will be announced as we get closer to the event.
For those who can’t get themselves down to Singapore to catch these events, fret not as some of the main esports tournaments will be livestreamed on Twitch and Yahoo!, the event’s media partners.

You can’t host a convention without some cosplay action and rest assured, AGF certainly will not disappoint. Cosplay fans will get the opportunity to meet several famous cosplayers, among which will be Thailand’s Yuegene Fay and South Korea’s Aza Miyuko. Intriguingly, AGF teases the fact that attendees may have the chance to play a game or two with their favourite cosplayers. Additionally, for those who are feeling competitive, there will be a cosplay competition that will be judged by the guest celebrity cosplayers.
