PlayerUnknown and Bluehole continue to churn out more and more new contents for his hit title, PlayerUnknown's Battleground, on top of the constant server and client optimization. To make the more interesting, PlayerUnknown recently teased players the work in progress for combat roll, energy drink drinking animation, as well as the addition of first person field of view (FOV) settings.
The combat roll is a very useful movement to be added into the game. It allows player to juke and evade while trading fire with an enemy, but you can only continue firing after you are on the ground. The movement shown in PlayerUnknown's tweet may seem slow, but rest assured it will be much faster when it comes to the game.
Besides combat roll, a new animation that is still a work in progress is the energy drink drinking animation. It basically does not help out much in gameplay but littering is definitely something new.
A lot of you have been asking about the FOV range in 1st person view, so here is a comparison of min/max FOV coming in our monthly update... pic.twitter.com/toq4San1IH— PLAYERUNKNOWN (@PLAYERUNKNOWN) July 31, 2017
PlayerUnknown previously teased that a first person only server will be coming to PlayerUnknown's Battleground soon, so the team also decided to add an FOV settings as well.
There is currently no ETA on all of the works in progress above, but once it is included in the game, it's going to be much fun to play.
