Achievements have been in Supercell's hit title, Clash Royale ever since the game was in soft launch. But now, Supercell has decided to remove Achievements in the October Update and it will be replaced by Quest.
If you have been playing the game for quite some time now, you would have noticed that Supercell has been adding new achievement from time to time and a lot of theses achievements are rather ridiculous. For instance, the level 3 Tournament Rewards achievement requires you to win 500,000 cards from tournaments. Winning a 10,000 Gems tournament only gives you 2000 cards and you have to win the same kind of tournament for 250 times to unlock it. Furthermore, the rewards you get for unlocking this achievement is just 30 EXP and 30 Gems, which is much less compared to the TV Royale achievement where you will earn 5 EXP and 100 Gems just by watching a replay.
Achievements are not the only thing that will be gone from Clash Royale. After the update, you will not be seeing Free Chest anymore. But on the bright side, you can open up free Golden Chest, Giant Chest, Magical Chest, Super Magical Chest, and even Legendary Chest! All you have to do is complete Quests and collect Quest Points which will fill up the meter, and once it is full, you can open the chest immediately. Completing Quests will also reward players with different types of gifts like cards and Gems, depending on the difficulty of the Quest.
There are many types of Quests that can be seen in the video uploaded by Clash Royale YouTuber and content creator, Orange Juice Gaming. Some examples of the Quests are Play Common (Play cards with Common rarity 60 times in 1v1 Arena Battles), Card Collector (Collect 500 cards), Win 2v2 Battles (Win 2v2 Battles 5 times), and many other exciting ones.
Besides Quest, Supercell also added Daily Gifts at the bottom of the Quest pop up where you can collect different gives daily like Gold and cards. Every Daily Gift will also award players will 5 Quest Points.
There will more sneak peeks for Clash Royale fans soon, so make sure to stay tuned to our page!
