Check Out Putrajaya Recreated In Cities: Skylines

By Yue Lynn on Mar 19, 2018

Yes, you read the headline right. Good ol’ Putrajaya has been recreated in a video game, namely, Cities: Skylines. Gamer and YouTuber, Gilbert Plays, genuinely has taken the time and effort to build Putrajaya from the ground up, realistically. Looking flashy and sleek, the city is most commonly known for housing Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s office and other government-related buildings.

Cities: Skylines is a city simulation game involving players building and designing cities according to their whim and fancy. While some players prefer to come up with fictional cities, there are others who prefer the opposite like Gilbert Plays. This Putrajaya recreation is a part of his ASEAN Cities recreation series. Additionally, the latest video from him involves the recreation of Putrajaya’s Seri Saujana and Seri Wawasan bridges.

To see more the recreations, you can watch them in Gilbert Play’s YouTube channel. Also, fun fact: Cities: Skylines and the recently released Surviving Mars share the publisher, Paradox Interactive.
