Another Blizzard title is celebrating its birthday soon as Heroes of the storm is about to turn two years old in a few days. In order to make the celebration more interesting, Blizzard is giving out one free common loot chest per day from May 30 onwards until June 12, as well as anniversary rewards after completing the allocated quests.

The event details are as follows:

  • Duration: Week of  May 30 – June 12
  • Daily Quest: Play 1 game in VS. AI, Quick Match, Unranked, or Ranked
    • Reward:  One Common Loot Chest Per Day
  • Event Quest: Play 3 Games in VS. AI, Quick Match, Unranked, or Ranked during the Anniversary Event
    • Rewards:
      • Anniversary Portrait
      • Anniversary Spray

Blizzard also did not forget to thank their players for supporting the game for two whole years. "Heroes of the Storm is about to turn two, and we want to thank all of YOU, our fearsome fighters, for coming on this epic journey with us. We couldn’t have gotten here without you and your incredible passion and dedication for the game—so we’re throwing an in-game party befitting of all of you Heroes!" Blizzard posted in the Heroes of the Storm official website.

These rewards are not all that Blizzard has to offer to their Heroes of the Storm players, they will also be hosting an English-speaking stream on their official BlizzHeroes Twitch channel at 10am PDT on June 5 (1am SGT on June 6). The livestream will feature special guests, some games and activities, giveaways to viewers and many more, so remember to set your reminders or alarms as you wouldn't want to miss it for anything else.

Be sure to complete the quest to unlock the stunning new Anniversary rewards as these Anniversary items will be exclusive to this event and will not be available for Shard crafting or from Loot Chests. See you on the Nexus!
