"The nights grow cold and monsters appear, a great evil gathers and Halloween draws near..." Halloween is just a few weeks away and Blizzard has finally announced the starting date of the Halloween Terror event. Along with the announcement video, Blizzard also teased players on McCree's and Reaper's new skin for the upcoming event.

Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 will commence on the 10 October (Tuesday), which will most probably arrive in Asian countries on Wednesday morning. The Overwatch team introduced the first ever PvE game mode in Overwatch called Junkenstein's Revenge and the game mode will be making its return for this year's Halloween since Dr. Junkenstein was featured at the end of the video and the background where the standoff between McCree and Reaper took place is the Junkenstein's Revenge map. Blizzard also mentioned that all the previous events will be coming back this year and the team will be fine-tuning it, so let's see what changes will come to the game mode.
As for the skins, there is some sort of reference going on. McCree's new skin kinda looks like Van Helsing and if you look closely at Reaper's mask, there are fangs on it that signify a vampire. Is it just a reference or is Blizzard teasing us the changes that are coming to the game mode? We can only find out next week.
For players who bought Overwatch after the Halloween event and did not have the chance to pay the PvE game mode, Junkenstein's Revenge is co-op PvE game mode where four players will choose between Soldier:76, Hanzo, Ana, and McCree to defend the castle gates in Adlersbrunn by fending off numerous waves of Junkenstein's creations and allies.
Mark your calendars as you wouldn't want to miss one of the best game modes in Overwatch. Do check out our list of Halloween skins we want for the Halloween event.
