ASUS and ASUS Republic of Gamers started the year with much flourish as they have unveiled a large lineup of products consisting of new consumer laptops, AiO PCs and gaming gear exclusively at CES® 2018. The showcase (January 9-12), which is located in Wynn, Las Vegas is open to visitors wherein they are able to try out the ‘fresh swag’. Now without further ado, let’s jump right into the products:

ZenBook 13 (UX331UAL)

Described as “a Windows 10 laptop that's ultralight, ultrathin and ultrapowerful." While it’s superficially small (weighing just 985g though it has a 15-hour battery), the ZenBook 13’s ‘core personality’ is definitely big as it possesses an 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and superfast 1TB PCIe® SSD. This one literally screams super.

ASUS X507

Packed with a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA® GeForce® MX110 graphics and a dual-storage design in addition to its slim-bezel NanoEdge Full HD display, this model is ideal for your daily computing and entertainment needs.

Vivo AiO V272

This one has a 27-inch multitouch display with a wide 100% sRGB color gamut, GeForce MX150 graphics and 178˚ wide-view technology for eye-candy visuals. On top of that, bass-reflex speakers and remote access complete this whole package like a nicely-wrapped bow.

Vivo AiO V222

Featuring a frameless 22-inch Full HD display with an incredible 87% screen-to-body ratio for edge-to-edge visuals and combined with its advanced ASUS SonicMaster bass-reflex speaker system, remote access, exclusive ASUS Splendid and Tru2Life Video technologies, this model unsurprisingly boasts the “ultimate entertainment system”.

Now, onto the type of fun gear we’ve been waiting for:

ROG Strix SKT T1 Hero Edition

This bad boy is a limited-edition gaming laptop created in collaboration with top eSports team SK telecom T1 and is exclusively built for MOBA gaming with an Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics and a 120Hz IPS-level display with a 100% sRGB color gamut. To whet fans’ appetites, this model comes bundled with limited-edition ROG-SK telecom T1 co-branded collectables, including a team jersey and mouse pad, along with Faker and SK telecom T1 team posters. The cover of this exclusive laptop features the SK telecom T1 team and ROG logos. A signature of Faker, one of the world’s best League of Legends players, is presented on the bottom right corner of the keyboard palm rest.

ROG Strix GL12

This beast of a desktop is powered by a factory-overclocked 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor (up to 4.8GHz full Hexa-Core) with NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 graphics (for top-level gaming performance) and a transparent side panel and customizable Aura Sync lighting effects to let players express their gaming aesthetics. Additionally, all upcoming ROG desktops and laptops will feature Aura Sync to enable players to synchronize lighting effects with supported keyboards, mice, headphones and other accessories to give their entire gaming setup a consistent look and feel that reflects their gaming persona or the feel of the game being played.

ROG G703

ROG G703 is touted as the world's first gaming laptop with an ultra-smooth 17.3-inch Full HD wide-view display with NVIDIA® G-SYNC™ technology for a 144Hz refresh rate. Fueled by the factory-overclocked Intel® Core™ i7-7820HK processor that reaches incredible speeds of up to 4.3GHz out of the box, NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1080 graphics with a maximum boost clock of up to 1974MHz, and Windows 10, ROG G703 is a true-blue gaming machine. Not only that, this laptop includes the Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) system wherein dust, dirt and other particles are ejected from the chassis through two tunnels, preventing build-up in the thermal fins for improved heat dissipation and increased system stability and lifespan. Besides ROG G703, the patented Anti-Dust Cooling system will be available in the next generation of all ROG gaming laptops. On top of that, it’s a best of both worlds situation as this model also has a built-in Xbox® Wireless that allows players to easily connect their Xbox accessories to it.

ROG Strix Flare

This one is an RGB mechanical gaming keyboard that combines powerful performance with ergonomic comfort. Additionally, aesthetic-wise, ROG Strix Flare is powered by Aura Sync lighting technology, possessing individually programmable RGB backlit keys, and LEDs under both sides to create an underglow effect that extends the customizable lighting beyond the keyboard. All of the onboard lighting effects can be synchronized with the vast ecosystem of Aura Sync devices to give players a personalized streamline battle station.

ROG Aura Terminal

ROG Aura Terminal is a quad-channel addressable RGB controller designed to bring gamers a more immersive gaming environment. Featuring innovative ROG Halo technology, ROG Aura Terminal enables stunning system lighting effects synchronized to in-game action. When LED strips are mounted behind a monitor, ROG Halo instantly determines the colors displayed at the edges of the screen and illuminates the LED strips with matching colors, creating a dynamic halo of lighting around the display for captivating gaming. ROG Aura Terminal can also be mounted inside the PC case and connected to Aura Sync devices to create unified system lighting effects.

Bezel-free Kit

This handy accessory allows players with multiple-monitor setups to visually eliminate the gaps where their displays connect, creating the appearance of one extra-large, wraparound monitor for a fully immersive gaming experience. Bezel-free Kit consists of vertical lenses and easy-to-attach mounts that connect the edge of each monitor at a 130-degree angle.

ROG Spotlight

ROG Spotlight is an RGB lighting accessory that projects the ROG logo on a wall or surface, enabling players to display their ROG pride and create an enhanced gaming atmosphere. Basically, if you have extra money, you can probably include this in your to-buy list.

Aura SDK program

In 2017, ROG announced the Aura SDK program, which enables developers and hardware partners to integrate Aura lighting control into their software and devices. Since its introduction, ROG has added numerous Aura SDK enhancements that provide even more control and capabilities. AIDA64 (PC system monitoring application), Tobii (world leader in eye-tracking) and Cooler Master (ROG hardware partner) showcased demos at CES 2018 highlighting the possibilities of the Aura SDK.
