While we are still in a bubble of excitement over Nintendo Labo’s theatrics and its users’ antics, let's not forget that the Nintendo Switch still has plenty of goodies lined up for us. With so many games being ported to the Switch, from classics to some recent ones as well, here are six upcoming Switch titles that you need to look out for:

Little Nightmares Complete Edition (Release Date: 18th May 2018)

This positively-reviewed, quirky 3D puzzle platformer puts a fresh spin on horror by concocting up a premise of creepiness and hunger. In Little Nightmares, you’ll be playing as a little girl named Six where you’re dwarfed by hideous creatures whom you’re supposed to be escaping from.

Fun Fact: This title shares the same release date as another Nintendo Switch game: Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.

Ikaruga (Release Date: 29th May 2018)

his is a game that sets a high bar for multitasking. Aside from dodging, shooting and piloting the Ikaruga aircraft, players need to have good reflex skills to switch between two polarities (black and white) in order to absorb enemy bullets of matching colour. The line between stressful and fun has never been so blurred in this one. To learn more about Ikaruga’s mechanics, click here.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus  (Release Date: 29th June 2018)

Known as the alternative-history shooter game ‘about killing Nazis’, Wolfenstein II pulled no punches when it comes to their unapologetic showcase of violence towards a bunch of fascists. Providing players with plenty of ways to annihilate Nazis with a sadistic antagonist (a spotlight-stealing General Engel) to boot, the game is a fun buffet of shooting and killing. Thanks to it eventually coming to Switch,  you can now fictionally murder some Nazis regardless of where you are!

Dark Souls: Remastered (Release Date: Summer 2018)

Back then, players endured countless challenging hours playing Dark Souls and taking down ugly-looking Bosses. Now in the present day, let us relive our torture by playing it on Nintendo Switch; praise the Sun for blessing us with a remastered version! However, while it will be released on 25th May 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, the game’s Switch version along with the Solaire of Astora Amiibo has been delayed until later this summer.

Okami HD (Release Date: Summer 2018)

Amaterasu, one of the best goddess doggos in video game world, will be gracing our Switch console screens so I guess the pleasure’s all ours! Canine love aside, Okami is a Japanese folklore-themed action RPG famous for its beautiful Sumi-e ink art style and plot involving a wolf protagonist defeating baddies. Along with its PS4, PC and Xbox releases, this Nintendo Switch version of Okami is perfect for introducing a classic game to a new generation of players.

Undertale (Release Date: To Be Announced)

Conquering PC and PlayStation (sorry Xbox peeps) isn’t enough for Undertale as the beloved RPG is set to assert its dominance over another brand of console. By twisting players’ expectations and earning its legendary cult status with its ‘have mercy or be merciless’ gameplay mechanics, Undertale managed to burrow its way into many fans’ hearts and fortunately for Switch users, you’ll be introduced to this indie masterpiece soon.

So, any of you be getting the aforementioned Switch titles? Better yet, will any of you be getting a Nintendo Switch just for some of these titles? ;)
