Halloween is only a month away, which also means it is only a month away where Overwatch players can enjoy Halloween with all new Halloween themed skins set to be released along with the event. So without further ado, here are the 10 skins that we need for the upcoming Halloween event. (P.S. The names of these skins are all made up by the artist or me, and some of these skins might not be Halloween related but we still need them!)
There are a few skins that are featured in the previous issue of Overwatch Comic titled 'Masquerade', and this is one of two Doomfist skins in it. He is dressed like all the League of Legends champion that has a Debonair skin, hence the name Debonair Doomfist. If Singed can have a Beekeeper skin like Mei, no one can stop me from naming it Debonair Doomfist.
Doomfist's second skin at the end of the comic. The name of the skin was inspired by the comic itself and since the definition of masquerade is a false show or a disguise, which is what Doomfist and Reaper are doing.
The skin may not look nice but the idea behind it is fresh, giving Sombra a makeover. The only thing that would make this skin better is by including some key elements so that people can immediately recognize her.
Pirate Reaper, one of the ideal skin for Reaper to go for trick-or-treating. He has the Pirates of the Carribean feel to it with the skull and his costume.
Red Swan Widowmaker
Widowmaker currently has two skins that look exactly like this one, but with different color scheme. Before she was brain washed by Talon, she was an accomplished ballerina in Paris, which also explains the Ballet emote she got during the Anniversary event. Her current two skins are named after the main characters of Swan Lake, Odette and Odile. Odette was turned into a Swan in the story, so I've decided to name it Red Swan.
Junkrat has been portraying himself as a crazy, psychotic maniac who solves everything with explosions. And you know who else has the same traits? If you've guessed Joker, then you're right. The fan art shows how much these two characters are in common.
The only hero in Overwatch that can freely fly and hover around in the air definitely deserves a skin like this!
Dragon Tamer Mercy
I am not a Mercy main, but this skin is the best one out of the ten in this list, in my opinion. Pharmercy has been wreaking havoc in Overwatch for quite some time now and giving both of them matching skins is the way to go.
This skin does not really fit Overwatch but you have to look and appreciate how well D.Va suits the Ninetails Fox look. Maybe we can have Kurama (Naruto's Ninetail Beast) as her mech?
This skin was featured in our previous list and it made into this list for the same reason as before. The skin does not look great but the concept behind it is. If you know how League of Legends' Twisted Fate's Q works, then you will know that Genji's alternate fire (right-click) works the same where Twisted Fate's cards and Genji's shuriken will travel and spread out into a cone shape. Magician Genji will throw cards instead of shurikens and When he uses his ultimate, he will unsheathe his katana from the magic cane if he finds out that you don't like his magic tricks.
